This privacy policy applies to the Say Splitwise app for mobile devices, operated by Tilicho Labs LLP ("we", "us", or "Service Provider").
Say Splitwise is a fully offline, on-device application. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. All information you enter — groups, members, expenses, and splits — is stored exclusively on your device and never leaves it.
We have no servers, no backend, and no data pipeline. We do not have access to any information you enter into the app.
The app may request permission to access your device's contacts solely to let you add group members by name. Contact data is read locally on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
The app may request microphone access for voice expense entry. Speech is processed entirely on-device using your operating system's built-in speech recognition. No audio or transcription is sent to our servers.
We do not use any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not use cookies or tracking technologies. We do not track your usage of the app.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any information to third parties because we do not collect any information in the first place.
Since we collect no personal data, the app does not pose privacy risks for users of any age. We do not knowingly solicit information from children.
All app data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the app. We have no copy of this data and cannot recover it on your behalf.
If our data practices change, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above.
